Mindful walk and meditation in Glen Clova
Time & Location
About The Event
Join Steve and Graham for a mindful walk up Glen Clova to Corrie Fee and simple guided meditation. Graham and Steve are experienced meditators and mindfulness teachers. Corrie Fee is a truly dramatic location with a massive bowl scooped out from the rugged mountainsides by a glacier during the Ice Age. It is also a National Nature Reserve for its rare plants and wildlife. An excellent path climbs gently to a viewpoint at the foot of the corrie.
We will leave from Glen Doll car park and Ranger Base at 10.30. We will then take a quiet mindful walk up the glen with some guidance from Graham and Steve to the corrie where we will have our lunch followed by some guided meditation. We will then walk back down the glen with the opportunity to talk, share our experience and discuss and ask Graham and Steve any questions about mindfulness practice.
The path is well defined but is uneven in places and the steady climb is not very steep but does require a reasonable level of fitness and health. The event is free (but costs £2 to park in the car park). No meditation experience is required but there are limited spaces so please register so that we can make the appropriate provisions. Please bring a packed lunch and something to drink as well as sturdy footwear and waterproof jacket. https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/angus/corrie-fee.shtml
